When Phil and Clara (Moke) McKinney hit the Internet they were totally knocked out by all the incredible things they found here. This site was their way of sharing that wealth with other newcomers to the web. Phil used this site as a sort of test bed to develop and refine his marketing and promotional skills, but from it's inception he and Moke wanted this site to be more than a commercial entity. They wanted to give something back to the web community and share the wealth of the Internet with others.
Later, when they set up their business, they created a new domain for it, allowing this site to continue as a means of expressing their enthusiasm with and for the Internet community.
Once upon a time some of the listings on this site were affiliate type links that helped pay for maintaining the site, but those links are gone now (Editor's Note: Hey, there's a lot of pages, and thousands of links here, so I may have missed one somewhere, but if you find one, let me know and I'll get rid of it).
